Welcome to the most photographed waterfall in Norway..!

It's not the tallest or the smallest, but Voringsfossen waterfall is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Norway, with thousands visiting every year. At 182m high and with a 145m drop, it is significantly smaller but magnificent.This was discovered by Prof. Christopher Hasnteen in 1820 and  the path to the waterfall was completed in 1872.

Going to the foot of the waterfall is a  1 to 1.5 hours round trip with 1.7 Km distance and generally the hiking is recommended during May/June to October. If you plan to visit, make sure to wear hiking shoes.
